   Please REMOVE the Insanely Large Picture of Pete Carroll on Qwest Field

PLEASE for the love of football fans remove the picture of Pete Carroll with the equally annoying and lame quote of “We’re Going to Compete Like Crazy” that is plastered larger than life on Qwest Field. There he is cheering/coaching and it’s obvious it’s not for the Seahawks so why this picture? Do we really need to see the coach (who hasn’t coached our team yet), this large on the stadium? I could be wrong but I don’t even think Holmgren was ever plastered up on the stadium and if he was at least he was deserving of it. Last year we were looked upon as a soft team with a soft coach and so the very next season we include the words WE’RE GOING TO COMPETE LIKE CRAZY on the side of our stadium. That’s like saying we will get so many first downs but never win a game. I would hope EVERY team competes! Thanks for the quote Pete, but who decided it was a good idea to plaster it along with the rah-rah picture?

I hope the schedule gets painted on there soon before the rest of the nation gets a glimpse of this picture. For once I am that glad no one pays attention to us up here in the NW because this is embarrassing. This is professional football. Bring back the defensive linemen, the fans, Blitz, Blue Thunder or SOMEthing other than glorifying a coach who hasn’t even coached the team yet and it’s obvious from the picture he is cheering and coaching ANOTHER TEAM.

Thank you Sydney! Finally, somebody noticed the picture of my Aunt Alice on QWEST Field. Hawks soft? On the contrary...we will compete! Oops...almost forgot...like crazy! Who are the whiz kids that decided to plaster this on the wall? Maybe we can add some photos of our team doing pilates. WOW! This picture and slogan would embarrass any self-respecting chess club from a middle school in France!!
Here's a crazy thought: If you are in charge of hiring the folks that adorn the building where NFL football is played...watch and understand football and its fans.
I just pray that Kenny Mayne doesn't hear about or see this (although his spin would be hilarious)!

My good friend Hungarytom just called to mention this picture..... I must say I thought he was joking. He then sent me a pic.... Who the heck came up with that poster? Seriously! I am actually from the east coast of Canada, huge hawks fan since 1986, and only been to Seattle once in my life. I feel relieved I would not have to look at this poster everyday. I am actually afraid to watch the NFL Network now..... just on the chance they will show the poster and have a good laugh. The perception from the first day PC was hired was that "This is not college football" and "will PC make the transition to Pro football." Well I got to say this poster is adding to the perception. This is college cheer material... not NFL. I didn't see any mention that Pete took the marketing staff from USC..... but I guess it is possible he did take everyone else. Who knows... maybe the USC mascot came too.. HAHA. For twenty years I fought off every other teams fans as I watched the Seahawks go 8-8 or 9-7 or 7-9 or worse. For twenty years of being a Seattle Seahawk Fan I watched them compete like crazy.... Then the the tone changed for the last few years... they were winners. Is this advertising that the old Hawks are back? Even though I don't have to see this poster everday, I really feel bad for the Proud Seahawks Fans sitting at King Street Bar and Oven that have to see this everyday. Being positive maybe it will drive beer sales for Troy at King Street as people get depressed looking at the sign. As for waiting for them to put the new schedule up, How about they put last years schedule back up with the results on it. It would give me the same feeling as this one. My Name is Eastcoasthawk and I'm a Seahawk Fan NOT a "PC"

It looks like the marketing people @ Microsoft had a hand in this. They are so lame. And please get that retarded bing logo off of those practice jerseys.......
