   Predictions????

Alright it has been too long since anyone has wrote on this board and I thought a good way to maybe get some movement on the board here is to throw out some ridiculously early predictions going. So first of all who does everyone think is going to win the NFC west. And then if you have anymore predictions as far as the NFL goes throw them in there. And finally how about a final record for the Hawks. As for me and the West I am going with the Hawks at 10-6. Thats what I think can and WILL happen at least I hope. As for the rest I will go with Minn,New Orleans,and Philly. And in the AFC I will go with San Diego,New England,Indy,Pitt.

MX, I was starting to believe everyone left for the Summer. Glad to see you are still around.

I'll go 8-8, based on their schedule. Anything better than that would be outstanding.

NFC: Arizona, Minn, Atlanta, Philly. Same as you for AFC: SD, Pats, Indy, Pitt.

I like your pics (except for the 8-8 that to me would be a waste). Correct me if I am wrong but I dont think that the Hawks are rebuilding. If they were, rebuilding like the M's I would be stoked with 8-8. Now, just because they are not rebuilding does not mean that they are an above average team I get that but I really think that this team could surprise a lot of people this year. I really dont think from what I have heard directly from some of the players that they are going to have those games where you are left scratching your head saying......was that really the same guys that played last week??? If you have been a Hawk fan for any number of years you KNOW exactly what I am talking about. With that in mind, there could be one or two more wins that most are not counting on. GO HAWKS, and come on people we less than a month and a half till training camp. Get on here and lets talk some FOOTBALL!

OK - I am interested why you picked TB to beat Seattle at Seattle? New coach, no QB what makes you think that is a "W" for TB.

You also have Seattle beating Chic, I think that would be the game Seattle could lose and not win.

I will be an optimist and say 10-6 but this is without having any idea what our offense will look like.
We may have trouble putting up points and be 6-10.

Defensively I think we will be great but I am unsure of our new offensive coordinator.

There we go 10-6 is something that we can get excited about! On a personnal note I REALLY want the Hawks to beat the Viks. I have an uncle and a friend that are Minny fans and I really dont want to have to listen to those two MORONS!

I have them going 10-6 and winning the division also it all depends on Hasselbeck staying healthy... if he goes down we go down.... I think the changes we made will help us, especially with house, finally a big play receiver and even the coaching changes will give us a breath of fresh air.... I will always love Holmgren and it makes me scared if he cant bring a SUPER BOWL championship to Seattle who can??? However I feel teams knew exactly knew what we were going to do and planned for it since he had been at it for ten years with this ball club... now this year teams will have no clue and we will be a lot more aggressive which I think will benefit us.... Nothing short of the playoffs will be a disappointment.... Lets hope that Denver goes down in a ball of flames so we can get that top 3 pick and draft our QB of the future and resign Hasselbeck next year to a long term deal and cut him after two or three years grooming Colt McCoy to take over

I think this is how it is going to go, but also being a Hawk fan you know that there are a couple of games in there that they should win and lose, and some games that maybe they should lose and win. So I guess we will have to wait for Sep. to see how it is going to turn out. All I have left to say is, COME ON SEPTEMBER!

I think the Hawks and AZ will battle for the division. Seattle will prevail in the end. I will throw out a conditional prediction of 11-5 for our final record. The condition of course is that we are able to run. This has been and still is my largest concern. For once I'm not so worried about the blocking on the O-line as I am with the actual HB position. If Julius Jones can prove me wrong, and the injury gods are merciful... We should roll this division. AZ has too many locker room problems. As for the rest of the league... I think MX has some great picks. I find it difficult to argue with them. As a fan... Nuts to the Pats and Steelers!
